What a month! So many things were finished, I almost don’t know what to do now. Just kidding. The big, looming project that’s been lurking in the shadows for too many months is finally complete, and I hopefully won’t have to deal with it again for a long while. Half a year finished. Where did the time go? My days have been packed with either typing or doctor things (I'm getting truly sick of seeing doctors). A huge, week-long event at my church took its time, but good work was done, and now it's back to the grindstone. I'm very nearly finished typing up The Captain Of The Abyss. There's about a quarter left of notebook 5, then the little half notebook, and it's done! ( I accidentally said there were 6½ books last month, but it's 5½

So. Almost halfway through the year. Still dealing with an obnoxious amount of health things, but I've managed to keep up with the local market, done a little more with the looming project that remains nameless, and even started something small and new in the yarn crafts. I've also been cooking a lot more. As for the book, I'm still typing it up. Past me left quite a few pieces of knowledge to try to acquire, and a certain search engine absolutely refuses to give them to me.

We have survived both Easter and tax season. Huzzah! In other news, health things have been an absolute pain the rumpus. It's getting to a point where I really just feel like giving up and not seeing a doctor again for another few years. But my mom said no. In book news: THE CAPTAIN OF THE ABYSS IS FINISHED!!! March was the chillest month I've had in a while. Not a lot to update outside of books things. There was a wonderful conference at the beginning of the month that has helped me to re-prioritize some things, but other than that, life has been pretty routine. To keep things open and honest, I've been struggling with a lot of impostor syndrome and writer's block this month. Even when making progress, it can be hard to accept contentment. A full year has passed since I started doing updates. 2025 has been strange and long at times, yet short and fun still. After a good break, I'll be back at it with a vengeance for the new year. Well. May has been a strange and slow-moving roller coaster. Near the middle of it, I lost a friend, and, therefore, the job I had taken on. After the completion of the third book in The Bane of Amstairis trilogy, I began my next novel. I am now delving into the realm of historical fiction with pirates. This new book (title to be determined later) takes place in exactly 1717. It follows a young woman who disguises herself as a man in order to join the Royal Navy and find a notorious pirate captain somewhere out at sea. I've just started writing chapter 7.
